Girls use it every day. Hanon excellent for strong fingers. Although this book is written with the junior piano students in mind, being a senior learner I can thoroughly reccommend it for all ages. Once mastered it gives you a good deal of pleasure and achievement. My son's piano teacher recommended this book and these are good exercises for those learning piano in the early stages.
